Zoos Just Chillin btw
By the way whatever's going on with this online stuff, so many zoosexuals are just living their lives in whatever ways they would have regardless of the online stuff.
Like, it's astonishing how many people barely know what the online zoo projects even are, much less the deets of what they're saying. And I don't mean just normies. I mean other zoos.
Online zoo resources are important for finding people and sharing lots of crucial messages. Outreach in the online space is so huge. It really does feel like these messages that happen on the internet form the shape of so many things to come.
And then also 90% of the zoos I talk to irl are like "oh uh I heard of Zooey Dot Pub I think, anyways check out my zoo tattoos on my butt these hurt SOOO MUCH but it was WORTH it."
Or they say stuff like, "Yeah Zooier Than Thou is so cool!" and then you're like "what did you think of the latest episode?" and then they're like "Oh uh I listened to like 3 episodes in 2019 and I thought those ones were awesome, I haven't heard the latest one, I'm still subscribed to it tho it's still on my to-do list, anyways check out this entire art gallery that I have set up in this art store downtown" and you're like "whaaaat that's just a normal store that is full of explicit animal art" and they're like "lmao yeah who's gonna say that that's not allowed" and you're like "wild."
Or they're like, "Yup fixed 11 trucks this weekend and redid grammy's front porch. What is this you're saying about 'anti zoos' what even is that? Is that like someone who doesn't think donkeys are attractive, because they're missing out but hey more donkeys for me, btw are you interested in donkeys cuz I know a donkey guy."
Like, zoosexuals, people who have had sexual relationships with animals, or romantic relationships with animals, or somehow resonate with that vicinity-
So many zoosexuals are out there and have just ended up living cool lives based on all of the other factors of what's going on with them. They are participating in careers you would never have thought of, whether those are luxurious jobs and they retire to their mansions afterwards, or whether those are entry level jobs where they retire to their apartment with 6 other people with afterwards.
Being a zoo is so easy to do completely outside of online discourse.
The online stuff is where a lot of zoos end up with their found families, so to speak. For me personally, most of the zoos I know irl live really far away, we're talking a full day of driving AT LEAST to get to most of them, if not a transcontinental flight. And so the internet is invaluable for staying connected with my fellow zoops. For me, zooey memes really brighten my day, the zooey discourse is endlessly engaging to me, and I could do with like seven more zoo podcasts to listen to while I knock out some dishes or fold laundry or otherwise tidy up. I cherish everyone who lends their paw to these things.
But, lotsa zoos just have other hobbies too, and, that is so fair, and I love that for them. Sometimes for me it feels like this zoo stuff is 100% of the world, but, yeah, nah, turns out a lot of zoos are just out there doing whatever. Maybe you'll bump into them at a furry convention, maybe you won't, maybe you'll bump into them at a pride parade instead, or a boat auction, or a high school reunion, or the public library's D&D night, or a tech conference. And they'll say some incredibly zooey thing and you'll show them the zeta on your necklace and they'll be like "what's that?" and you'll be like, "like, zoosexuality," and they'll be like "huh?" and you'll be like wtf, ily.
Zoos are on all kinds of different wavelengths and grindsets. And a lotta zoos are just chillin.
