A Beautiful Sphere

I think humans are beautiful. I really do.

I think one way humans are exceptionally beautiful is in the ways that we dress: we can wear flowing colorful gowns that trace after us ghost-like as we walk, sharp black tuxedos that make us look singularly in-control of a room, baggy hoodies that are huge vibes, t-shirts, jewelry, shoes--you name it, humans can rock it.

It's not just what we wear, either. I think even more-so than dressing beautifully, humans can have really beautiful narratives that we're part of. Look to the mountains and mountains of romance novels that have been written, to see how much our eyes are drawn to humanxhuman relationship dynamics. It doesn't have to involve romance or sex either; I could imagine a beautiful story about a human building a bridge in the woods, or a human finally finding the solution to a math conjecture; I think there's beauty to be seen in how these interests, and these histories, reflect on us as thinking, driven beings.

Well. I've been saying "we" and "us" when referring to humans, but, actually I think of myself as more of a dog. I wear the collar and tags and everything. Bad habit that I keep including myself in humanspeak. Oops.

I really do think humans are beautiful. But my gosh, how much beauty there is in the rest of the universe as well.

Look at outer space--something that we had absolutely no hand, hoof, or flipper in shaping, and yet there it is, absolutely mesmerizing in its appearance, absolutely stunning when we are presented with conceptualizing the nature of its void and distances and extremes.

I am someone who has been swept away, all my life, by the beauty of dogs, wolves, foxes, coyotes. For me, human art is most appealing when it is aimed at depicting the beauty in a wolf pack; the travels through the forests, the play, the slumber, the scents--oh do I have a lot to say about the scents.

Existing on this blue sphere tumbling through the cosmos, there are so many staggeringly deep and staggeringly rich veins of beauty: the human vein that weaves across the coasts and plains; the mallard vein that flaps across the sky above and bobs on the ponds and fountains; the wolf vein that stalks and trots through the forests, occasionally howling, occasionally sleeping, almost always employing a sniffing nose to take in the shape of the world. Cats, Deer, Raccoons, Dolphins, Sea Weed, Ocean Currents, Hurricanes, Lava, Horses, Bears, Roses, Amethyst, the list goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on.

Zoosexuality is something that I feel deeply blessed to have been adorned with, by whatever gods made me--or whatever DNA, whatever upbringing, whatever exposure, whatever we may think did it.

On a very candid, straightforward, un-metaphorical level, I think sheaths and red penises are hot. I see immense beauty, directly on its face, when I look at a great big canid. Apparently some other people think dog dicks look gross or something? I mean, fair enough? Your loss?

There is also a beauty in combination, contrasts, artistically placing two things together: a dog who looks like a dog, combined- romantically, sexually, living situation-ally--with a dog who looks like a human, for example--but it does still wear the collar and the tags.

I believe that interspecies mingling, zoosexuality, bestiality, is an amazingly beautiful aspect of this planet. And the list of species to find beauty with goes on, and on, and on; every one of them a different kind of gemstone, a special way of being utterly captivating.

I hope that reincarnation is real, as many say that it is. I hope that someday I will be a housecat basking in the sunlight on a warm couch. I hope that someday I will be a worm blindly pushing myself through dirt and sometimes feeling light and sometimes not. I hope that someday I will be a dog in a way that feels less awkward. I hope that someday I will be rain and someday I will be an apple tree. I hope that it is the fate of our consciousness to experience every beauty that this universe holds, even if it takes a very, very, very long time.

In the meantime, as it stands right now, I exist in this world with two legs and hands. At an unknown date in the future, my heart will stop beating. But while I can only stand upon one place, I can look upon many; I can rub myself against canidkind until we're both thoroughly satisfied and wagging; I can yap with other zoos who have been to other lands, seen the beauty of falcons and goats and what have you, and appreciate as much of that other species' beauty as will shine through in the medium of language.

What parts of the world are beautiful? Humans are beautiful, but humans are not alone in that: the list of beautiful things goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on...
